Cablu USB DeLOCK 5m 2xUSB 2.0-A

The DeLOCK USB cable extends a USB 2.0 connection and is designed for data transmission over a 5 m length. It comes with one male and one female USB-A connector, supports a maximum data rate of 0.48 Gbit/s and features magnetic shielding and nickel/gold-plated contacts for increased durability and reduced interference.

Advantages

The cable offers reliable USB 2.0 connectivity over a 5 m span, magnetic shielding to minimise electromagnetic interference and plated contacts to improve contact longevity. Its male-to-female USB-A configuration makes it suitable for extending existing USB-A connections without additional adapters.

Suitable for

• Extending USB 2.0 peripherals (printers, scanners, external drives)
• Connecting devices where a longer USB-A reach is required
• Setups sensitive to EMI where magnetic shielding helps maintain signal integrity

Key specifications

• Connector 1: USB A (male)
• Connector 2: USB A (female)
• USB version: USB 2.0
• Maximum data transfer rate: 0.48 Gbit/s
• Cable length: 5 m
• Colour: Black
• Contact plating: nickel/gold
• Shielding: magnetic

How to use

Connect the male USB-A plug to the host device (PC, laptop or powered hub) and plug the USB-A female end into the peripheral's USB cable or device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted to maintain a stable connection. For best results, avoid tight bends and heavy mechanical stress along the cable length.

Recommendations

Avoid coiling the cable tightly near power sources or large transformers to reduce residual interference. For high-bandwidth or latency-sensitive applications, consider using a USB 3.x cable or a powered USB hub if additional power or higher transfer speeds are required.
