Cablu Delock DisplayPort - DisplayPort (M)

This DisplayPort cable connects devices with a DisplayPort interface, such as monitors or TVs, to a PC or laptop. It follows the DisplayPort 1.2 specification and supports transmission of both video and audio signals over a single cable. The cable is approximately 5 m long (including connectors) and comes in black with gold-plated connectors and a triple-shielded copper conductor.

Advantages

The cable supports high data transfer rates up to 21.6 Gb/s and resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz depending on system and hardware. It uses 28 AWG conductors, a robust triple shielding for reduced interference, and gold-plated DisplayPort 20-pin male connectors for reliable contact. Pin 20 is not connected in accordance with the specification.

How to use

Connect one gold-plated DisplayPort 20-pin male connector to the DisplayPort output on the PC or laptop and the other connector to the DisplayPort input on the monitor or TV. Ensure both devices are powered on and configured to use the DisplayPort input. Adjust resolution and refresh rate in the operating system or monitor settings to match supported values (for example 3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz where supported). A free DisplayPort interface on the device is required.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep the cable away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference and use appropriate system settings and compatible hardware that support DisplayPort 1.2 to achieve the stated data rates and resolutions.
