Cablu serial DeLOCK Sub-D9 84016 5 m bej

The DeLOCK Sub-D9 serial cable (model 84016) is a 5 m beige cable with a Sub-D9 connector designed for reliable serial communication. It extends a serial interface to connect devices that use RS-232-style serial ports, providing a durable connection for data transfer over longer distances.

Advantages

The cable offers a five-metre length to increase connection range while maintaining signal integrity. Its Sub-D9 connector is compatible with common serial devices and the beige jacket provides a neutral appearance for office or industrial settings. The construction aims at stable performance and long-term use.

Suitable for

• Connecting serial devices such as mice and modems
• Extending serial ports for industrial equipment or legacy hardware
• Use in office or workshop environments requiring RS‑232 connections

Key specifications

• Brand: DELOCK
• Model / MPN: 84016
• Connector: Sub-D9 (DE-9)

How to use

Connect one Sub-D9 connector to the serial port of your computer or host device and the other to the serial device (for example a mouse or modem). Ensure connectors are fully seated and, if present, fasten any screws to secure the connection. Verify device settings (baud rate, parity, stop bits) in the host software as required by the connected device.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid routing the cable near strong electromagnetic interference sources and do not bend the cable sharply. Use the 5 m length when a longer reach is required; for short runs consider a shorter cable to reduce clutter.
