Cablu serial DeLOCK 86827 negru 10 m DB-9

The DeLOCK 86827 is a 10 m serial cable with DB-9 (mini D-Sub9) connectors designed for reliable data transmission between RS-232 devices. It serves as an extension or connection cable for modems, printers, measuring instruments, converters, RS232 hubs, patch panels and other devices, allowing adjacent systems to be linked directly.

Advantages

The cable offers a compact mini D-Sub9 connector (44 x 33.3 x 15 mm) that fits any RS-232 port and allows closely spaced connections. At 10 m length it provides flexible routing options while maintaining straightforward, standard DB-9 serial connectivity. The black jacket gives the cable a neutral appearance suitable for many installation environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting modems and routers
• Connecting serial printers and measuring instruments
• Linking converters and RS232 hubs
• Extending or patching RS-232 ports on patch panels and devices

How to use

Connect each DB-9 connector to the corresponding RS-232 port on your devices, ensuring secure seating and any required fastening screws are tightened. Use the cable to extend a serial port or to directly connect compatible devices for data transmission. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference to maintain signal integrity.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, verify that both devices support RS-232 signaling and matching pinouts. Avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines and keep connections dry. If long-term installation is required, periodically inspect connectors and jacket for wear.
