Cablu SAS DeLOCK 83389 1 m negru

The DeLOCK 83389 is a 1 m Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) cable for internal PC and server use. It has a Mini SAS HD x4 SFF-8643 connector on one end and a Mini SAS x4 36‑pin SFF-8087 connector on the other, enabling connection between controllers and backplanes or storage devices. The cable is black and intended for reliable high‑speed data transfer in storage and server environments.

Advantages

This SAS cable supports Mini SAS HD and Mini SAS connections with a single-cable solution, simplifying internal cabling. The matched SFF‑8643 and SFF‑8087 connectors ensure compatibility with common SAS controllers and backplanes. At 1 m length the cable offers a balance between routing flexibility and compact installation inside chassis.

Suitable for

• Connecting a SAS controller to a backplane or storage enclosure
• Internal cabling in servers and rackmount systems
• Upgrading or replacing internal SAS interconnects

Key specifications

• Cable length: 1 m
• Connector 1: Mini SAS HD x4 (SFF-8643)
• Connector 2: Mini SAS x4 36‑pin (SFF-8087)
• Colour: Black

How to use

Power down the system before installing the cable. Insert the SFF‑8643 connector into the Mini SAS HD port on the controller and the SFF‑8087 connector into the corresponding backplane or enclosure port, ensuring correct orientation and a secure fit. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and secure it inside the chassis to prevent strain on connectors. After installation, power on the system and verify that connected drives are recognised by the controller.

Recommendations

Use this cable for internal SAS interconnects only; avoid external exposure to moisture or excessive mechanical stress. For optimal signal integrity, keep cable length as short as practical and avoid tight bends near the connectors.
