Cablu optic activ SFP+ DeLOCK 86643 10 m

The DeLOCK Active Optical Cable SFP+ 86643 is a 10 m fibre-optic cable with SFP+ connectors on both ends, designed for high-speed data transmission between devices or between two Ethernet switches. It supports data rates up to 10 Gbps and is intended for use in data centers and enterprise networks where reliable, low-latency links are required.

Advantages

The cable provides 10 Gbps transmission over a 10 m length using SFP+ form-factor connectors, combining the signal integrity of optical transmission with a lightweight, flexible construction. Its active optics maintain high-speed performance over the full length while the SFP+ connectors ensure compatibility with standard SFP+ ports on switches and network devices.

Suitable for

• Connecting a server or device to a switch with an SFP+ port
• Directly linking two Ethernet switches
• High-speed interconnects in data centers and enterprise racks

How to use

Insert the SFP+ connector at each end into the corresponding SFP+ ports on the devices to be connected, ensuring the connectors are correctly oriented and fully seated. Verify that both devices recognize the link and configure link settings on the network equipment if required. Avoid bending the cable sharply; route it through cable pathways or trays to prevent stress on the fibre and connectors.

Recommendations

Use the cable in environments that match the operating specifications of your networking equipment. Keep bend radius within manufacturer guidelines, avoid exposure to liquids and extreme temperatures, and handle SFP+ connectors by the housing to reduce contamination and connector damage.
