Adaptor M.2 intern DeLOCK 89370

The Internal M.2 Adapter DeLOCK 89370 is a PCIe expansion card that adds a single M.2 slot to a desktop PC. It accepts M.2 modules in 2280, 2260 or 2242 form factors and connects via the motherboard PCI Express interface. The adapter is designed in green and grey and provides an internal M.2 output for adding high-speed storage to a compatible system.

Advantages

The adapter provides a straightforward way to add an internal M.2 slot without replacing the motherboard, supporting commonly used 2280/2260/2242 module sizes. Its PCIe host interface ensures direct connection to the system bus for low-latency, high-bandwidth communication. Compact internal design in green and grey allows easy installation in standard PC cases.

Suitable for

• Upgrading a desktop PC with an M.2 SSD
• Adding NVMe or SATA-based M.2 storage (depending on module compatibility)
• Systems lacking a free M.2 slot on the motherboard

Key specifications

• Host interface: PCIe
• Output interface: M.2
• Supported M.2 module sizes: 2280, 2260, 2242
• Internal: Yes
• Colour: Green, Grey

How to use

Power off the PC and disconnect from mains. Insert the adapter into an available PCIe slot on the motherboard and secure it to the case. Place the M.2 module into the M.2 slot on the adapter at the correct angle, then fix it with the appropriate mounting screw for the module length (2280/2260/2242). Reconnect power and boot the system; configure the new drive in the operating system or BIOS as required.

Recommendations

Ensure compatibility between the M.2 module type (NVMe or SATA) and the adapter/motherboard before installation. Use an appropriate mounting screw and avoid excessive torque. Back up data before configuring a new drive.
