Adaptor M.2 intern DeLOCK 62584

The DeLOCK 62584 is an internal M.2 adapter that connects to a system via the M.2 (NGFF) slot and provides a PCI Express connection for installing a PCIe card. The adapter features a predetermined breaking point that allows the board length to be shortened from 80 mm to 60 mm to better fit compact systems. It is designed for internal installation and uses the PCIe host interface with an M.2 output.

Advantages

The adapter enables connection of a PCI Express card through the M.2 slot, offers a compact form factor suitable for space-constrained installations, and includes a configurable board length (80 mm or 60 mm) via a breaking point. It supports reliable PCIe data paths for internal expansion without occupying external slots.

Suitable for

• Adding a PCIe card to systems with an available M.2 (NGFF) slot
• Upgrading storage or expansion capabilities in small form factor PCs or laptops
• Building or modifying compact systems that require a shortened adapter length

Key specifications

• Brand: DELOCK
• Model: 62584
• Host interface: PCIe
• Output interface: M.2 (NGFF)
• Internal adapter for installation inside PC or laptop
• Board length configurable: 80 mm, can be cut to 60 mm via predetermined breaking point

How to use

Install the adapter into the system's M.2 (NGFF) slot following the device and motherboard documentation. If required for your chassis, reduce the board length by cutting at the predetermined breaking point from 80 mm to 60 mm before installation. Secure any PCIe card or M.2 device to the adapter according to the card and chassis mounting instructions, and ensure proper seating of connectors before powering the system.

Recommendations

Before cutting the board, confirm the required length and consult your system manual. Perform the shortening carefully with appropriate tools and ESD precautions. Ensure compatibility of the connected PCIe card with your system’s M.2 slot and available lanes.
