Adaptor intern M.2 DeLOCK 63909

The DeLOCK 63909 Internal M.2 Adapter allows installation of an M.2 module in sizes 2242, 2230, 3042 or 3030 into a system via a Mini PCI Express slot. The adapter uses a full‑height expansion card form factor with compact dimensions (30 x 54 mm) and is available in red. It is intended for internal use and supports integration with systems that provide a Mini PCIe host interface.

Advantages

This adapter accepts multiple M.2 module lengths (2242, 2230, 3042, 3030) and mounts through a Mini PCI Express connector for straightforward internal installation. A predetermined breaking point lets you shorten the card from full size to half size when required. The compact footprint makes it suitable for space‑constrained systems.

Suitable for

• Installing M.2 SSDs or modules in systems with a Mini PCIe slot
• Upgrading internal storage in compact or embedded PCs
• Prototyping or test systems where different M.2 module lengths are used

Key specifications

• Brand: DELOCK
• Model: 63909
• Host interface: Mini PCI Express
• Output interface: M.2 (supports 2242, 2230, 3042, 3030)
• Internal: Yes
• Dimensions (W × D): 30 mm × 54 mm

How to use

Insert the adapter into an available Mini PCIe slot on the motherboard or carrier board. Fit the M.2 module into the M.2 connector on the adapter, secure it at the appropriate standoff for the module length, and if necessary shorten the card at the predetermined breaking point to achieve half‑size form factor. Reinstall any retention screws and verify that the module is recognized by the system.

Recommendations

Use appropriate ESD precautions when handling the adapter and M.2 modules. Ensure the host system supports the M.2 module type you intend to install and confirm physical clearance before shortening the adapter at the breaking point.
