Tub termocontractabil DeLOCK 19945

The DeLOCK 19945 heat shrink tube is a polyolefin sleeve designed to insulate and protect cables, wires and electrical conduits. When heat is applied the tubing contracts to form a tight, protective layer around the component, providing mechanical protection and resistance to environmental influences. Supplied in a practical dispenser box, the tubing remains clean and is easy to store and cut to length.

Advantages

The polyolefin material offers durable electrical insulation and reliable shrink performance. The black colour gives a professional finish while helping to mask cables. The dispenser box enables orderly storage, protects the tubing from dust and dirt and allows simple unrolling and individual cutting.

Suitable for

• Insulating electrical wire joints and soldered connections
• Protecting cable ends and splices in workshops and industrial settings
• Strain relief for cable transitions and connector assemblies
• General cable organization and protection in equipment and installations

How to use

Measure and cut the heat shrink tubing to the required length, slide it over the cable or joint, then apply heat evenly (for example using a heat gun) until the tubing shrinks tightly around the component. Allow the tubing to cool so it sets in the reduced diameter before handling. Ensure the applied heat is appropriate for polyolefin to avoid damage to the tubing or underlying components.

Recommendations

For best results use a regulated heat gun and apply heat uniformly. Avoid open flames and excessive temperatures. Choose tubing diameter and wall thickness suitable for the cable bundle so the sleeve achieves a snug fit after shrinking.
