Tub termocontractabil DeLOCK 19610

The DeLOCK 19610 heat shrink tube is made from durable polyolefin and comes in yellow. It is designed to provide insulation and protection for wires, grips and connections by shrinking tightly around components when heat is applied. The sleeve protects against moisture, dust and mechanical wear, and is suitable for use on tools, fitness equipment, racket handles and fishing rods as well as for electrical wire insulation.

Advantages

The polyolefin construction offers durable insulation and good resistance to mechanical stress and environmental influences. With a 2:1 shrinkage ratio the tube reduces to approximately half its original diameter for a secure, non-slip fit. The bright yellow colour improves component visibility during installation and maintenance.

Suitable for

• Insulating and protecting electrical wires and connections
• Improving grip on tools, fitness equipment and racket handles
• Repairing or reinforcing fishing rod handles
• General cable organisation and strain relief

Key specifications

• Brand: DELOCK

How to use

Slide the heat shrink tube over the area to be protected so it covers the component fully. Apply heat evenly using a hot air gun or another appropriate heat source until the tube contracts tightly around the item and conforms to its shape. Allow the sleeve to cool and set before handling.

Recommendations

Use a temperature-controlled heat gun and keep the heat source moving to avoid overheating or burning the tubing. For electrical insulation, ensure the tube diameter before shrinking matches the component and that all connections are secure and clean prior to shrinking.
