Treppiedi Manfrotto MKBFRC4GTXP-BH

The Manfrotto Befree GT XPRO Carbon (MKBFRC4GTXP-BH) is a travel tripod engineered for professional macro and general photography where portability and precision are required. Its compact folded length of 43 cm and lightweight 1.76 kg carbon-fibre construction make it suitable for travel, while a maximum working height of 141 cm and a minimum height of 9 cm enable versatile shooting angles. The tripod includes a built-in 90° centre column mechanism and the advanced 496 head with 200PL-PRO quick-release plate, supporting cameras and lenses up to 10 kg.

Advantages

The Befree GT XPRO Carbon combines high-stiffness 100% carbon-fibre tubes with a special production process to deliver rigidity and lightness without mixed materials. The integrated 90° column in the top casting allows easy ground-level and overhead shots while keeping the mechanism protected when unused. The supplied Manfrotto 496 head provides independent panoramic and friction controls for precise framing with zoom lenses, and the 200PL-PRO plate with rubber inserts ensures secure camera grip. The M-lock leg locks enable fast, secure setup on the move and the folded length fits most carry-on luggage and the supplied carry bag.

Suitable for

• Macro and close-up photography requiring low-angle and precise positioning
• Travel and location shooting where compact size and light weight matter
• Portrait, landscape and product photography with heavy lenses up to 10 kg
• Panoramic and controlled-friction framing using the 496 head

How to use

Extend the legs and lock each section securely using the M-lock mechanism. Release and rotate the integrated 90° centre column when needed for low-angle or overhead shots, then lock it in position. Mount the camera on the 200PL-PRO quick‑release plate and attach the plate to the 496 head; use the independent panoramic and friction knobs to set rotation and tilt resistance for precise framing. Adjust height between 90 mm and 1410 mm according to composition, and fold the tripod back to its 43 cm length for transport.

Recommendations

For stable macro or telephoto work, ensure the 496 head’s friction is adjusted to match lens weight and always double‑check leg locks and the quick‑release plate engagement before releasing the camera. Use the carry bag for transport to protect carbon‑fibre tubes from impact.
