Perie circulară de sârmă KWB 604030 8 cm

The KWB 604030 wire wheel is an 8 cm diameter brush with an 8 mm shank designed for use with drills. Its crimped HSS steel wires are brassed for improved corrosion resistance and provide aggressive cleaning action for metal and wood surfaces. The brush is suitable for rust and paint removal, scale and encrustation cleaning, surface levelling and for creating a rustic finish on roof timbers, edges, frames, posts, bars and pipes as well as on fairly large areas.

Advantages

Crimped HSS steel wire with brass plating increases corrosion resistance and durability. The 8 mm shank fits standard drill chucks for easy mounting. The wheel’s construction balances effective material removal with controlled abrasion, allowing it to strip rust and paint while smoothing surfaces and producing a rustic appearance where required.

How to use

Fit the 8 mm shank securely in the drill chuck and tighten. Start the drill at low speed to check balance, then increase speed to the appropriate level for the material and task. Hold the brush at a consistent angle and apply even light pressure; move the brush steadily across the surface to remove rust, paint or scale. For wooden surfaces intended to receive a rustic finish, work along the grain and check progress frequently to avoid over-abrasion. Stop periodically to inspect the work and clear debris from the brush.

Recommendations

Wear appropriate protective equipment: safety goggles, gloves and a dust mask. Use suitable drill speed for the material; avoid excessive pressure or speed to prevent damage to the substrate and premature wear of the brush. Keep the brush clean and replace it when wires are significantly worn or damaged.
