Modul patch panel DELOCK 90895 — adaptor fibră SC Simplex, violet/alb

DELOCK 90895 is an SC Simplex fiber adapter module designed for installation in patch panels and fiber distribution frames. The module provides a single SC Simplex connection in a violet/white housing, enabling reliable single‑fiber link termination and straightforward connection of SC‑terminated cables. Its color coding supports easy identification of individual fibers and organized patching within telecom, data center, or LAN fiber management environments.

Advantages

The SC Simplex fiber adapter offers a compact, standardized interface for single‑fiber connections, ensuring consistent alignment and low‑loss mating of SC connectors. The violet/white housing provides clear color identification for fiber runs, reducing the risk of cross‑connection. The module is engineered for installation into standard patch panel cutouts, allowing fast replacement or reconfiguration without altering existing fiber routing.

How to use

Install the module into the dedicated cutout or slot of a compatible patch panel or fiber distribution frame until it snaps or secures in place according to the panel design. Once mounted, insert SC‑terminated fiber cables into the front and rear ports as required to complete the connection. Ensure connectors are clean and free of dust before mating to maintain optimal optical performance. For removal, release the module from the panel following the panel manufacturer’s guidance and carefully disconnect fiber connectors to avoid stress on the fiber.

Recommendations

Before installation, inspect SC connectors with appropriate cleaning tools and visual inspection equipment. Use the violet/white color coding to map fiber runs and document connections within the patching plan. Avoid excessive bending of fibers near the adapter and ensure panels are mounted in environments within recommended temperature and humidity ranges for fiber infrastructure.
