The BTR NETCOM 1309131002-E White RJ-45 socket-outlet provides a built-in network connection point for structured cabling systems. Designed for wall installation, it delivers a compact, low-profile finish that integrates with standard cover plates. The socket supports reliable high-speed data transmission and is intended for use where a permanent, stationary Ethernet connection is required.

Advantages

The socket-outlet offers a consistent physical interface for Ethernet networking, reducing wear on device connectors and improving connection stability. Its neutral white finish suits a variety of interior environments and makes the outlet visually unobtrusive. The product is engineered for straightforward installation in standard wall boxes and for compatibility with common twisted-pair cabling, enabling dependable signal transfer for typical network setups.

Suitable for

• Wall-mounted network points in homes and apartments
• Office workstations and meeting rooms
• Small server rooms and network closets for patching
• Commercial installations in retail, hospitality, and education facilities
• Connecting desktop PCs, IP phones, printers and other Ethernet devices

Key specifications

• Connector type: RJ-45 female
• Color: white
• Mounting: flush wall installation compatible with standard electrical boxes
• Cable type compatibility: category twisted-pair Ethernet cables
• Contact material: plated contacts for reliable signal transfer
• Faceplate style: low-profile, single-port format

How to use

Install the socket-outlet into a standard flush wall box following local electrical and low-voltage installation codes. Terminate the Ethernet twisted-pair cable to the rear termination points according to the chosen wiring scheme (such as T568A or T568B) and secure the module in the wall box with the provided screws. After installation, connect an Ethernet patch cable from the socket to the network device to establish a stable wired connection. Ensure both ends of the link are terminated with compatible connectors and test the connection with network testing tools as needed.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use category-appropriate cabling and maintain correct pair untwisting limits at termination. Avoid bending cables sharply behind the outlet and follow shielding and grounding practices for shielded cable variants. Periodic inspection of connections and use of compliant patch cords helps preserve signal integrity and reduce downtime.
