Mânecă pentru cablu DeLOCK 20790 gri

The DeLOCK 20790 braided cable sleeve in grey is a copper protective fabric designed for EMC shielding and bundling of exposed cables or electrical tubes. It resists temperatures from -40 to 150 °C and is available in a 2.5 cm diameter with a length of 2000 mm, providing a robust solution to protect cables in networks, measuring devices and machines.

Advantages

The copper braiding provides electromagnetic shielding to reduce interference and protect connected devices. Its structure offers high flexibility and stretchability to accommodate multiple cables or wires of different diameters while preventing excessive bending. The strong fabric construction increases resistance to weathering and mechanical damage, extending cable service life.

Suitable for

• EMC shielding of network and data cables
• Bundling and protection of cables in measuring devices and industrial machines
• Shielding and routing of exposed electrical tubes and wiring

How to use

Slide the braided sleeve over individual cables or a cable bundle, or pull cables through the sleeve before final routing. Adjust position and cut the sleeve to the required length if necessary. Secure each sleeve end with appropriate clamps, heat-shrink tubing or cable ties to prevent fraying and ensure consistent shielding contact.

Recommendations

For optimal EMC performance, ensure the sleeve makes good electrical contact with grounded metal points at cable entry or chassis connection. Avoid sharp bends beyond the sleeve's flexibility range and protect cut ends with tape or shrink tubing to maintain mechanical integrity.
