Instrument de sertizare VALUE 25.99.8790

The VALUE 25.99.8790 crimping tool is designed for precise and reliable crimping of connectors and terminals. Its ergonomic handle reduces hand fatigue during repetitive tasks and the robust metal construction provides resistance to wear for long-term use. The tool accepts a range of wire sizes and connector types, enabling consistent mechanical and electrical connections in workshop, industrial and home environments.

Advantages

The crimping tool offers consistent and repeatable crimps thanks to its accurately machined jaws and uniform pressure distribution. The ergonomic grips improve control and comfort during extended use while the solid hinge and hardened crimping surfaces increase durability. Its compatibility with multiple terminal types makes it a flexible choice for different wiring tasks without frequent tool changes.

Suitable for

• Crimping insulated and non-insulated terminals
• Electrical wiring in automotive and marine applications
• General workshop and maintenance wiring
• DIY electrical projects and household repairs

Key specifications

• Tool type: hand-operated crimping pliers
• Handle: ergonomic, non-slip grips
• Construction: hardened steel jaws with corrosion-resistant finish
• Supported wire sizes: suitable for a range of small to medium gauge wires (check terminal markings for exact compatibility)
• Operation: manual ratchet or direct-action crimping mechanism depending on model variant
• Weight and dimensions: compact, portable design for bench or field use

How to use

Select the correct terminal and prepare the wire by stripping the insulation to the recommended length. Place the terminal into the crimping jaw and insert the stripped wire conductor fully into the terminal barrel. Squeeze the handles evenly until the crimp is completed; if the tool has a ratchet mechanism, apply pressure until the ratchet releases. Inspect the crimp visually and, if required, perform a gentle pull test to verify mechanical retention and correct electrical contact.

Recommendations

Use the tool with terminals and wire sizes within the tool's supported range. Keep the jaws clean and lightly lubricated at the hinge to maintain smooth operation. Store the tool in a dry place to prevent corrosion and periodically check for wear on crimping surfaces; replace the tool if crimps become inconsistent. For critical electrical connections, follow relevant wiring standards and safety precautions.
