Clește Knipex 97 52 30

The Knipex 97 52 30 pliers are manufactured from chrome vanadium electric steel with oil hardening for increased durability. These 220 mm long pliers come with blue and red ergonomically shaped handles that provide a secure grip while keeping the overall weight at 477 g. The tool features precision dies and an integral lock (self-releasing mechanism) to ensure consistent, repetitive high-quality crimping and is factory-calibrated for precise crimping pressure; it can be readjusted if required.

Advantages

Precision dies and a self-releasing integral lock deliver reliable, repeatable crimping quality. The crimping pressure is pre-set at the factory and can be re-adjusted to maintain accuracy. A toggle lever mechanism provides efficient force transmission for reduced operator fatigue. The pliers’ compact design, favourable handle position and ergonomic handle shape improve handling during prolonged tasks. The chrome vanadium electric steel with oil hardening increases wear resistance and service life.

Suitable for

• Crimping insulated and non-insulated terminals and connectors
• Electrical installation and maintenance work
• Workshop and professional trade use where repeatable crimp quality is required
• Situations requiring a calibrated, adjustable crimping tool

Key specifications

• Brand: Knipex
• Model / MPN: 97 52 30
• EAN: 4003773051855
• Length: 220 mm

How to use

Select the correct crimping position for the terminal or connector, place the conductor and terminal in the precision dies, and operate the handles until the self-releasing mechanism opens. If necessary, check and adjust the calibrated crimping pressure following the manufacturer’s instructions to achieve the required crimp quality. Maintain a firm, comfortable grip on the ergonomically shaped handles and allow the toggle lever to transmit force smoothly to reduce hand fatigue.

Recommendations

Regularly inspect the dies and locking mechanism for wear or contamination, keep the tool clean and lightly lubricated, and verify calibration periodically when consistent crimping quality is critical. Store the pliers in a dry place to protect the oil-hardened steel from corrosion.
