Convertor LNB Megasat 0401088

Universal Octo LNB Megasat 0401088 for satellite reception with outputs for up to 8 receivers. The white low-noise block downconverter operates in the 10.7–12.75 GHz band, has a 4 cm feedhorn diameter, gold-plated F-type connector and compact housing (60 mm width, 112 mm depth). Designed to deliver stable digital reception including HD, 3D and 4K channels with a low noise figure of 0.1 dB.

Advantages

This Megasat LNB combines a very low noise figure (0.1 dB) with gold-plated F-connectors for improved conductivity and reduced signal loss. The unit is built for high weather resistance to ensure reliable operation in extreme temperatures. Its octo design provides separate outputs for up to eight receivers from a single satellite feed, supporting high-quality digital reception.

How to use

Mount the LNB on the satellite dish's LNB arm according to the dish manufacturer's instructions, ensuring correct polarization and focal position for your target satellite. Connect each receiver to one of the eight F-type outputs using quality coaxial cables and tighten the gold-plated F-connectors securely. Configure each satellite receiver to the satellite parameters and scan for channels. For single-satellite setups, no multi-switch is required when each tuner has a dedicated cable to the LNB.

Recommendations

Use weatherproof, appropriately rated coaxial cables and properly tightened connectors to maintain signal quality. If multiple tuners in a receiver require DiSEqC or multiswitch functions, ensure compatibility or add the necessary switch equipment. Periodically check connections for corrosion or water ingress despite the weather-resistant design.
