LNB Schwaiger LNB2 convertor Low Noise Block

The SCHWAIGER LNB2 Low Noise Block downconverter is designed for satellite signal reception and operates in the frequency range 11.70–12.75 GHz. With an F-type RF connector, a 4 cm feedhorn diameter and a compact black housing, this LNB converts received high-frequency satellite signals to lower intermediate frequencies for further processing by a satellite receiver. Its low current consumption of 110 mA makes it suitable for standard satellite installations where efficient power use is required.

Advantages

The LNB2 offers stable signal conversion across the specified Ku-band range and features a standard F connector for compatibility with common coaxial cables and satellite equipment. Its low noise design and modest power consumption contribute to reliable reception and reduced load on the supply source. The compact feedhorn supports straightforward mounting on parabolic reflectors.

Suitable for

• Domestic and small commercial satellite TV reception
• Ku-band satellite signals within 11.70–12.75 GHz
• Replacement or upgrade of standard LNBs on dishes with compatible mounting

How to use

Mount the LNB on the dish’s LNB arm or holder, ensuring the feedhorn is correctly positioned toward the reflector focus. Connect the LNB to the satellite receiver with a coaxial cable terminated with an F connector. Power and polarization settings are controlled by the receiver; configure the receiver for the Ku-band frequency range and perform antenna alignment and signal strength tuning until optimal reception is achieved.

Recommendations

Use suitable weatherproof connectors and cable runs for outdoor installation; check polarity and receiver settings after installation. If replacing an existing LNB, verify mechanical compatibility with the dish holder and ensure the feedhorn clearance matches the reflector focal point.
