Conector coaxial IEC ShiverPeaks BS85322-G

The ShiverPeaks BS85322-G coaxial connector combines an IEC connector type with an F-type connector in a single adapter designed for reliable audio and video signal transmission. Supplied as a single-piece pack, this compact connector provides a stable mechanical and electrical connection between devices with differing coaxial interfaces, facilitating interoperability in home entertainment and professional AV setups.

Advantages

This coaxial adapter is engineered to minimise signal loss and provide consistent impedance matching between IEC and F-type connections. Its metal body ensures mechanical durability and effective shielding against electromagnetic interference. The compact construction makes installation straightforward in confined spaces while maintaining secure contact to reduce intermittent signal issues.

Suitable for

• Connecting TV sets to cable or satellite feeds where IEC and F-type ports are used
• Adapting set-top boxes, SAT receivers and tuners with differing coaxial ports
• Temporary or permanent connections in home AV systems and media cabinets
• Small installations or repairs that require a single reliable connector

Key specifications

• Connector types: IEC (female/male interface depending on device) to F-type
• Material: metal housing with conductive contacts for improved signal transfer
• Impedance compatibility: designed for standard 75 Ω coaxial systems
• Pack quantity: one piece per package

How to use

Align the IEC end of the adapter with the IEC socket on the source or display device and insert until it seats firmly. Screw the F-type threaded end onto the corresponding F-type cable or inlet until hand-tight; avoid over-tightening to prevent damage to the connector or cable. Verify the connection by checking signal strength or picture/audio quality and re-seat if intermittent issues appear.

Recommendations

Use this ShiverPeaks coaxial adapter in dry, indoor environments and avoid exposure to moisture or corrosive conditions. For best signal integrity, pair the adapter with quality coaxial cables and ensure connectors are clean and free of debris before assembly.
