Adaptor coaxial ShiverPeaks BS85322

The ShiverPeaks BS85322 coaxial connector combines an IEC male connector with an F connector in a single-piece design, intended for reliable signal transmission between devices in audio and video systems. Constructed for stable mechanical contact and continuous signal flow, this adapter supports connections where different coaxial terminations must be joined without changing cables. The connector’s robust housing and straightforward form factor make it suitable for permanent or temporary installations in home entertainment and professional AV setups.

Advantages

The adapter provides a compact and durable solution for converting between IEC male and F connector types without complex wiring. Its single-piece construction reduces signal loss points and minimizes the risk of intermittent contacts. The product design emphasizes mechanical stability and ease of use, allowing quick connection and disconnection while maintaining consistent signal quality.

Suitable for

• Connecting TV sets, set-top boxes and satellite receivers with mismatched coaxial ports
• Home entertainment systems and AV racks where IEC and F connectors need to be joined
• Temporary testing or troubleshooting of coaxial signal paths

Key specifications

• Connector types: IEC male to F connector
• Construction: single-piece coaxial adapter
• Intended signal: RF coaxial for audio/video distribution
• Compatibility: standard IEC and F coaxial interfaces
• Mechanical features: compact housing for stable contact

How to use

Align the IEC male end with the receiving IEC female socket and push in until the connector seats firmly. Attach the F connector end by threading or inserting onto the corresponding F-type socket until secure. Ensure connections are tight but avoid excessive force. After installation, verify signal presence and quality on the connected devices. For removal, reverse the procedure: gently disconnect the F connector and pull out the IEC male end.

Recommendations

Use the connector in dry, indoor environments and avoid exposing it to excessive mechanical stress or moisture. For best signal performance, keep coaxial cables short where possible and ensure cable shields and terminations are properly installed. Inspect contacts if signal degradation occurs and replace the adapter if physical damage or wear is visible.
