Cablu SAS HPE P06307-B21

The HPE P06307-B21 SAS Cable is a Mini-SAS to Mini-SAS internal cable designed for reliable high-speed connections between servers and storage enclosures in enterprise environments. The cable uses Mini-SAS connectors on both ends and comes in a blue jacket, with a straight connector form factor that eases routing and installation in rack or chassis interiors. It is intended for use with HPE storage and server systems where compact, robust SAS connectivity is required.

Advantages

The cable provides secure Serial Attached SCSI connections using Mini-SAS connectors at both ends, reducing the risk of data interruptions during transfers. Its straight connector design allows installation in confined spaces and simplifies cable management inside server racks. The blue outer color helps with quick visual identification among internal cables in dense installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting HPE servers to SAS storage enclosures
• Internal cabling inside rackmount servers and storage arrays
• Replacing or extending Mini-SAS links in enterprise storage systems

Key specifications

• Connector type (end 1): Mini-SAS
• Connector type (end 2): Mini-SAS
• Product colour: Blue
• Form factor: Straight connectors suitable for tight spaces

How to use

Install the cable by aligning each Mini-SAS connector with the corresponding port on the server and the storage device, then insert until it seats firmly. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and to maintain adequate airflow within the chassis. Ensure both ends are fully seated and secured according to the server or storage array manufacturer's installation guidance before powering the systems.

Recommendations

Verify compatibility with your specific HPE server or storage model and follow static-discharge precautions when handling internal cables. Avoid excessive bending near the connector ends and maintain organized routing to support maintenance and airflow.
