Cablu SAS DeLOCK 83392

The DeLOCK 83392 SAS cable is a 0.5 m Serial Attached SCSI lead that connects a Mini SAS HD x4 SFF-8643 controller to up to four SATA drives. Designed for server and storage environments, the cable supports high-speed data transfer while its short length suits installations with limited space. The product features a black and silver finish and provides a compact, direct connection between a Mini SAS HD port and SATA devices.

Advantages

The cable converts a single Mini SAS HD x4 SFF-8643 interface into four SATA 7-pin connections, enabling straightforward attachment of multiple drives without additional adapters. Its 0.5 m length reduces cable clutter in dense enclosures and helps maintain tidy airflow. The fixed connectors ensure reliable mechanical and electrical contact for stable data transmission.

Suitable for

• Connecting up to four SATA drives to a Mini SAS HD x4 controller
• Internal server and NAS installations with limited cable length
• Storage arrays and RAID configurations requiring direct SAS-to-SATA linking

Key specifications

• Cable length: 0.5 m
• Connector 1: 1 x Mini SAS HD x4 SFF-8643
• Connector 2: 4 x SATA 7p
• Product colour: Black, Silver

How to use

Insert the Mini SAS HD x4 SFF-8643 connector into the corresponding controller port, ensuring proper alignment and a secure fit. Connect each SATA 7-pin plug to the SATA data inlet on your drives. Verify connections before powering the system, then power up and check that the controller recognises the attached drives in firmware or the operating system.

Recommendations

Use this cable for internal connections only and avoid excessive bending or pulling. Ensure SATA power cables are connected separately to each drive; this cable transmits data signals only. For optimal signal integrity, keep the cable length as short as practical and route it away from high-interference sources.
