How to use

Choose a rotary hammer that accepts this drill bit style and set the tool to the appropriate hammer or drill setting according to the material being drilled. Secure the bit in the tool's chuck or SDS holder as required, ensuring it is seated and locked. Mark the drilling point, start at low speed to position the bit, then apply steady pressure and allow the tool's impact action to progress through the material. Withdraw the bit periodically to clear dust and avoid overheating when drilling deep holes.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye protection and hearing protection, and ensure the workpiece is secured. Select drill speed and hammer settings suited to the material, and avoid excessive lateral force to prolong bit life. For repetitive or heavy-duty jobs, check the bit periodically for wear and replace when cutting performance declines.
