Adaptor coaxial IEC ShiverPeaks BS85321

The ShiverPeaks BS85321 is a compact coaxial adapter that converts between an IEC connector and an F-type connector. It is designed to provide a reliable electrical and mechanical connection for television, set-top boxes, radio and other audiovisual equipment where an IEC-to-F interface is required. The adapter is supplied as a single piece and intended for inline use to bridge differing connector types without changing existing cabling.

Advantages

This coaxial connector offers a simple, space-saving solution for adapting between IEC and F-type sockets. Its mechanical construction ensures firm mating and consistent signal continuity, while the compact form factor makes it suitable for installations in tight spaces behind equipment. The adapter requires no tools for mating and can be used immediately after connecting, facilitating quick setup and maintenance.

Suitable for

• Connecting televisions to cable or antenna feeds with mismatched connector types
• Linking set-top boxes, tuners and VCRs to household coaxial cabling
• Temporary or permanent adapter use in home theater and AV installations
• Broadcast and professional audio/video systems where IEC-to-F conversion is needed

Key specifications

• Connector types: IEC (female/male as used in standard wall/receiver sockets) and F-type
• Use: passive coaxial signal adapter for RF, TV and FM signals
• Construction: compact inline adapter suitable for confined spaces
• Quantity: single piece per pack

How to use

Align the adapter with the corresponding IEC or F-type socket on the equipment or wall outlet and push or screw the connector into place as applicable for the connector type. Ensure the mating surfaces are clean and free from debris before connection to maintain signal quality. To remove, unscrew or pull the connector gently while supporting the cable to avoid strain on the cable termination.

Recommendations

Use the adapter in dry, indoor environments and avoid excessive bending or mechanical strain on connected cables. For best signal performance, keep connections tight and periodically inspect the connector for corrosion or damage; replace the adapter if physical wear is observed.
