Switch Ethernet Devolo 16 porturi 16× Gigabit Ethernet

Devolo 16-port 16× Gigabit Ethernet switch provides sixteen Gigabit Ethernet ports for reliable wired network expansion. Designed to increase LAN port count in small offices, homes, or networked AV setups, the switch enables high-speed wired connections for PCs, network-attached storage (NAS), printers and other Ethernet devices. The compact desktop form factor and plug-and-play operation make it suitable for straightforward integration into existing local area networks to improve throughput and connection stability.

Advantages

The switch offers sixteen dedicated Gigabit Ethernet ports to connect multiple wired devices simultaneously and support full 1 Gbps link speeds where devices and cabling allow. It supports simple installation without the need for complex configuration, and its fixed-port design eliminates the need for additional modules. The device reduces network congestion by providing separate physical ports for each device and improves reliability for applications that benefit from wired connections, such as file transfers and streaming.

Suitable for

• Small office networks requiring additional Ethernet ports
• Home networks with multiple wired devices (PCs, printers, NAS)
• Networked audio/video setups and media streaming systems
• Workstations and peripherals needing stable, low-latency connections

Key specifications

• Number of ports: 16 Gigabit Ethernet ports
• Port speed: 10/100/1000 Mbps auto-negotiation
• Form factor: compact desktop switch for local area network expansion
• Operation: plug-and-play, no user configuration required for basic use
• Intended use: wired Ethernet connectivity for multiple devices

How to use

Place the switch on a stable surface near your router or network junction, connect its power adapter, and use standard Ethernet cables to link the router or upstream switch to one of the switch ports. Connect client devices (PCs, NAS, printers, media players) to the remaining ports. The device negotiates link speed automatically and requires no additional setup for basic switching functions. For optimal performance, use Cat5e or higher Ethernet cabling and connect devices capable of Gigabit Ethernet to the switch.

Recommendations

To ensure consistent Gigabit performance, pair the switch with Cat5e or Cat6 cables and maintain good cable management to avoid excess bending or interference. Place the switch in a ventilated area and avoid stacking heavy equipment on top of it. For installations with many power-sensitive devices, use a surge protector or UPS to protect the switch and connected equipment from power fluctuations.
