Supermicro Cooler CPU 1U pentru socket 4677 pasiv SNK-P0087VM

High-density 1U servers demand efficient thermal management without the noise and failure points of active cooling. The Supermicro SNK-P0087VM passive heatsink answers that challenge, engineered specifically for Intel Xeon Scalable processors on the LGA4677 socket. Its copper base and aluminum fin stack dissipate heat silently, relying on chassis airflow to keep your CPU within safe operating temperatures.

Who is it for

This cooler is built for system integrators, data center operators, and IT professionals deploying Supermicro 1U rackmount servers. It is ideal for environments where low acoustic noise, high reliability, and space efficiency are critical—such as colocation facilities, edge computing nodes, and dense virtualization clusters. If you are building or maintaining a server with an Intel Sapphire Rapids Xeon, this heatsink ensures compatibility and thermal performance up to 350W TDP when paired with adequate system airflow.

Main features

• Passive cooling design: no fan, no moving parts, zero noise, and minimal maintenance.
• Optimized for Intel LGA4677 (Socket E) Xeon Scalable processors, including Sapphire Rapids generation.
• 1U low-profile form factor fits standard Supermicro 1U chassis with proper airflow.
• Copper base with aluminum fins provides excellent thermal conductivity and heat dissipation.
• Screw-on mounting ensures secure attachment to the motherboard, preventing movement during shipping or operation.
• Supports processors with TDP up to 350W when used in a chassis with recommended airflow (front-to-back).
• No heat pipes required—direct contact base transfers heat efficiently to the fin array.
• Designed for Supermicro server motherboards, ensuring exact fit and alignment.

Tips

Before installation, verify that your chassis provides sufficient airflow—typically 20 CFM or more across the heatsink. Apply a high-quality thermal paste sparingly to the CPU heat spreader. Ensure the heatsink is mounted evenly and tightened in a cross pattern to avoid uneven pressure. For best results, pair this passive cooler with high-static-pressure chassis fans and maintain clean air filters to prevent dust buildup that could impede cooling.
