The Parker 2190512 fountain pen combines a full metal body and a monochrome finish to deliver a refined writing instrument suitable for professional environments. The pen features champagne-coloured trims and a matching nib, PVD-coated metal parts for improved wear and corrosion resistance, and a cartridge filling system compatible with Quink cartridges; it can also be converted for bottle filling. Supplied in an elegant Parker gift box, the pen writes in blue ink and comes in a brown exterior finish.

Advantages

The full metal body provides a solid, durable feel while the PVD coating on metal parts increases resistance to wear and corrosion. The monochrome aesthetic with champagne trims and nib gives a consistent, professional appearance. How to use

Install a compatible Quink cartridge by unscrewing the section and inserting the cartridge until it clicks, or convert the pen for bottle filling using a compatible converter according to the converter manufacturer’s instructions. If using bottled ink, ensure the nib and feed are fully submerged when drawing ink into the converter. After filling, reassemble the pen and gently prime the nib by allowing ink to flow to the tip; a few test strokes on scrap paper may be needed to achieve an even flow.

Recommendations

Store the pen capped when not in use to prevent drying. Clean the nib and feed periodically by flushing with lukewarm water if changing ink types or if the flow becomes inconsistent. Avoid dropping the pen to protect the nib and PVD finish.
