Splitter de rețea PLANET POE-172S, negru

The PLANET POE-172S Gigabit ultra Power over Ethernet splitter separates Ethernet data and PoE power on twisted-pair cabling, providing one Gigabit data output and selectable DC power outputs (12V / 19V / 24V). Compliant with IEEE 802.3at/af and 802.3bt ready, it supports transmission distances up to 100 metres and is designed for use with 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networks. The unit has a compact metal housing, silent ventilated design, and operates from a 50–56 V PoE input.

Advantages

The POE-172S enables quick deployment of devices without requiring nearby AC power outlets, reducing installation time and cabling costs. A front-panel DIP switch allows selection of three DC output voltages (12V, 19V, 24V) to match different client devices. Using all four pairs of Cat5e/6 cabling in combination with 802.3bt/at/af sources, it delivers higher PoE power and Gigabit data simultaneously. Its metal enclosure and ventilated design provide reliable, silent operation in compact installations.

Suitable for

• PoE PTZ speed dome cameras
• Thin clients
• All-in-one touch PCs (AIO)
• Remote digital signage displays
• Network devices that require higher PoE power

How to use

Connect the RJ-45 input to a compatible PoE injector or 802.3bt/at/af Ultra PoE switch using Cat5e or Cat6 cable. Set the front-panel DIP switch to the required DC output voltage (12V, 19V, or 24V). Run a twisted-pair Ethernet cable up to 100 metres from the splitter to the target non-PoE device and plug in the device to receive both data and the selected DC power. Ensure the PoE source can supply sufficient power for the chosen output voltage and the connected device.

Recommendations

Use with certified 802.3bt/at/af PoE sources for reliable high-power delivery; verify device power requirements before selecting the 12V/19V/24V output and keep cable runs within 100 metres for optimal performance.
