Set de dibluri wolfcraft GmbH Universal Dowelmaster

The wolfcraft Universal Dowelmaster Set is a 78-piece dowelling kit for producing precise, robust wood joints using round wooden dowels in diameters 6 mm, 8 mm and 10 mm. The set centres on the quick dowelling jig that guides drilling for edge-to-edge, corner-butt and T-butt joints in boards 12–30 mm thick, and includes drill bits, centre points, depth stops, wood glue and a plastic case for tidy storage.

Advantages

The quick dowelling jig features two centring pins, an adjustable stop, three integrated guide slots and three hardened steel bushes for 6, 8 and 10 mm dowel pins, allowing even inexperienced users to align and drill reliably. Supplied drill bits and depth stops ensure correct hole depth for the included dowels, and the compact plastic case keeps all components organised for transport and storage.

Suitable for

• Joining furniture panels and carcasses
• Repairing loose joints in cabinets, shelves and frames
• DIY wood projects requiring accurate edge, corner or T-connections

How to use

Place the jig on the board edge or face and locate it using the two centring pins and the adjustable stop to set the correct position. Select the guide slot and corresponding steel bush for the chosen dowel diameter, fit the matching drill bit with the depth stop, and drill through the bush to the required depth. Apply wood glue to the dowels and in the holes, insert dowels into one workpiece and join the mating piece, clamping until the glue cures.

Recommendations

Use consistent clamping pressure and verify board thickness before positioning the jig. For best results, test-drill on a scrap piece to confirm drill depth and fit of the dowels. Store the set in its case to protect drill bits and bushes from damage.
