Set de burghie KWB 429040 13 buc.

KWB 429040 drill bit set with 13 pieces. The bits are right-hand cut, Type N, roll-forged and steam-hardened with a blue-black finish and a 118° tip angle. They are suitable for drilling alloyed and mild steels, castings, non-ferrous metals and hard plastics. The set is supplied in a hanging box for organised storage and easy access.

Advantages

The set contains 13 roll-forged bits that provide consistent concentricity and wear resistance after steam hardening. The Type N right-hand cut and 118° tip angle offer reliable centring and chip evacuation across a range of materials. The blue-black surface treatment adds corrosion resistance and helps identify the bits. The hanging box keeps the bits organised and transportable.

How to use

Select a drill bit of the correct diameter for the required hole. Secure the workpiece and clamp it if necessary. Use right-hand rotation in a drill or drill press at an appropriate speed for the material. Apply steady pressure and allow the bit to cut; withdraw occasionally to clear chips. For harder materials, use cutting fluid or coolant to reduce wear and improve chip removal. After use, clean the bits and return them to the hanging box for storage.

Recommendations

For best results, match drilling speed to the material: lower speeds for harder metals and higher speeds for softer metals and plastics. Use cutting fluid on alloyed and hardened steels. Replace any worn or chipped bits to maintain hole quality and tool safety.
