Set de burghie KWB 240500

The KWB 240500 drill bit set includes four SDS Plus shank hammer drill bits with self-centering drill points and high-temperature brazed tips. Designed for rotary hammers and optimized for right-hand rotation, the bits feature multiple spirals for efficient debris removal, reduced friction and heat build-up, and lower vibration during use. The set meets standards certified by the German Masonry Drill Testing Association (PGM) and aligns with the German Institute of Building Technology requirements.

Advantages

The SDS Plus shank ensures secure fit in compatible rotary hammers while self-centering points improve accuracy when starting holes. High-temperature brazing increases tip durability under heavy use. Multiple spiral flutes help evacuate dust and debris quickly, which reduces friction and heat generation and contributes to smoother, lower-vibration drilling performance.

How to use

Insert an SDS Plus bit into a compatible rotary hammer until it locks. Use the hammer in right-hand rotation mode and apply steady forward pressure without forcing the bit. Allow the tool to work at its intended speed; periodically withdraw the bit to clear debris if required. Follow the rotary hammer manufacturer’s instructions for speed and hammer settings appropriate to the material being drilled.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (safety glasses, hearing protection, dust mask) and secure the workpiece before drilling. Replace bits that show excessive wear or damage to maintain performance and safety.
