For longer sessions or to avoid bending, attach the hoe head to any compatible GARDENA combisystem handle and work from an upright position. Use short, controlled pushes or angled pulls to slice through weed roots and loosen the topsoil, and clear loosened material from the area as you work.

Recommendations

Use the hoe on dry to slightly moist soil for best cutting and weeding performance. After use, clean soil from the blade and dry it before storage; apply light oil to the metal parts if storing for extended periods to protect against corrosion. Do not use the tool on very rocky or frozen ground to avoid damaging the blade.
