Cablu HDMI S/CONN HDMI - HDMI 2m

The S/CONN HDMI - HDMI 2m is a standard HDMI Type A male-to-male cable designed for reliable transmission of audio and video between source devices and displays. With a 2 metre length and a black outer jacket, the cable connects HDTVs, monitors, projectors and media players while supporting a data transfer rate of up to 8.16 Gbit/s. Gold-plated contacts improve conductivity and resist corrosion to maintain signal quality over time.

Advantages

This HDMI cable delivers stable digital signal transmission for high-definition video and multi-channel audio. The 2 m length provides flexibility for typical home and office setups without excessive cable slack. Gold-plated contacts enhance contact reliability and minimise signal loss at connector interfaces. The standard HDMI Type A connectors ensure broad device compatibility and simple plug-and-play operation.

Suitable for

• Connecting Blu-ray players, set-top boxes or game consoles to HDTVs
• Linking desktop or laptop computers to external monitors
• Connecting projectors in meeting rooms or classrooms
• Hooking up media players and streaming devices to AV receivers or TVs

Key specifications

• Cable length: 2 m
• Connector type (both ends): HDMI Type A (Standard) male
• Data transfer rate: up to 8.16 Gbit/s
• Contacts: gold-plated
• Colour: black

How to use

Insert one HDMI Type A connector into the HDMI output of the source device and the other into the HDMI input of the display device. Ensure both devices are powered off or set to the appropriate input selection during initial connection. After connecting, power on the devices and select the correct HDMI input on the display; most systems will negotiate resolution and audio automatically. For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends and keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources.

Recommendations

For stable image and audio performance, check that both connected devices support the desired resolution and refresh rate. Use the 2 m length for close-proximity setups; for longer runs choose cables rated for higher bandwidth or active signal boosting. Periodically inspect the gold-plated contacts and the cable jacket for wear and clean contacts gently if necessary.
