The EFB Elektronik 691650GR.2B rack shelf is a fixed shelf for standard 19" equipment racks, finished in grey. With a width of 482.6 mm and 400 mm depth, it provides a flat, stable platform for non-rackmount devices, tools and small accessories. The shelf is made to integrate into server cabinets and network racks, offering a compact footprint and a specified maximum load capacity of 22 kg for everyday storage and organisation needs.

Advantages

This rack shelf offers a straightforward installation into 19" racks and a neutral grey finish that blends with common cabinet interiors. The compact 482.6 mm width and 400 mm depth provide space for routers, switches, small UPS units, monitors, or tools while keeping devices accessible. The defined maximum weight capacity of 22 kg helps plan equipment placement safely. The design is intended for durability and stable support for non-rackmount items.

Suitable for

• Storing small networking equipment such as switches, routers and patch panels (non-rackmount)
• Placing monitors, KVM consoles or keyboards inside a cabinet
• Holding tools, spare parts and accessories for maintenance tasks
• Temporary placement of small UPS units or power strips within a rack

Key specifications

• Compatible rack type: 19" standard racks
• Overall width: 482.6 mm
• Depth: 400 mm
• Maximum load capacity: 22 kg
• Finish: grey
• Mounting: fixed shelf for rack rails

How to use

Install the shelf at the desired height by securing it to the rack’s 19" mounting rails according to the cabinet’s mounting holes and fasteners. Ensure the shelf is level and fasteners are tightened to provide stable support. Place equipment and accessories centrally on the shelf and distribute weight evenly without exceeding the 22 kg maximum capacity. Regularly check that mounting hardware remains secure during routine maintenance.

Recommendations

To maintain safe operation, use the shelf for non-rackmount devices and lightweight equipment only. Avoid concentrated loads at the front edge and keep cable routing tidy to prevent strain on mounted equipment. For heavier items or permanently mounted servers, choose a purpose-built rackmount tray or shelf rated above the required load.
