Racletă de mână KS Tools 907.2215 100 g

The Hand scraper KS Tools 907.2215 100 g is a lightweight manual scraping tool designed for removing paint, adhesive residues and other deposits from flat and slightly contoured surfaces. Its compact construction and balanced weight enable controlled movement and fine scraping work in workshops, repair shops and for domestic maintenance. The tool is intended for mechanical removal of materials where a clean, prepared surface is required prior to painting, bonding or finishing.

Advantages

The scraper combines low weight with a rigid blade mounting to provide precise control and reduced operator fatigue during extended use. Its simple construction allows quick access to edges, seams and narrow gaps. The tool is suitable for both rough material removal and refined scraping to leave a smooth substrate for subsequent treatments. The neutral, ergonomic profile supports stable handling and predictable cutting angle.

Suitable for

• Removing paint and varnish from metal, wood and composite surfaces
• Scraping off adhesives, sealant residues and sticker backing
• Cleaning corrosion, scale or light rust from small areas
• Preparing surfaces before repainting, bonding or sealing
• General workshop and household maintenance tasks

Key specifications

• Tool type: manual hand scraper
• Weight: approximately 100 g for easy handling
• Blade mounting: rigid fixed configuration for controlled scraping
• Typical blade edge: suitable for both coarse and fine scraping operations
• Handle design: compact, ergonomic profile for stable grip and manoeuvrability

How to use

Hold the scraper with a firm but relaxed grip, positioning the blade at a shallow angle to the work surface for controlled material removal. Apply steady, even pressure and move the tool along the surface in the direction that reduces the risk of gouging. For stubborn residues, make several light passes rather than a single heavy cut. Replace or sharpen the blade as needed according to wear before performing fine finishing or surface preparation tasks.

Recommendations

Inspect the work surface and select the appropriate blade condition before starting. Use personal protective equipment such as gloves and eye protection when scraping paint, rust or adhesive to prevent injury from flying particles. For delicate surfaces, test on a small inconspicuous area to confirm that the scraping action does not damage the underlying material. Store the scraper with the blade protected to avoid accidental contact and preserve the edge.
