Wall mounted rack Digitus DN-19 12U-6/6-EC is a 12U network cabinet from the Dynamic Basic Series designed for wall installation. The cabinet has a compact 600 x 600 mm footprint and 600 mm depth, supports up to 60 kg, and provides 483 mm (19") profile rails mounted on the front and rear inside the rack. The housing is made of sheet steel up to 1.5 mm thick and is finished with electrostatic powder coating in grey (RAL 7035) or jet black (RAL 9005). Removable side panels, an adjustable-depth pair of galvanized 19" rails with rack unit markings readable in both directions, a lockable safety-glass front door with a steel frame and reversible hinges, as well as pre-cut cable inlets in the roof, floor and back wall are included to simplify installation and maintenance.

How to use

Mount the included mounting plate to the wall using appropriate fasteners for your wall type, then attach the cabinet housing to the plate. Adjust the depth of the internal 19" profile rails as required and install rack equipment such as patch panels, switches or small servers into the 12U space. Route cables through the pre-cut inlets in the roof, floor or back wall and install a fan module in the roof pre-cut area if additional ventilation is needed. Close and lock the safety-glass front door to secure installed equipment; side panels can be removed for maintenance.

Recommendations

For safe installation, use wall anchors or bolts rated for the cabinet weight plus equipment load, and ensure total mounted equipment does not exceed the 60 kg maximum load. Maintain clearance for ventilation and, if installed in a dust-prone environment, consider adding a fan module and periodic cleaning to preserve airflow and equipment cooling.
