Proptea pentru gips-carton Bessey ST290

The BESSEY ST290 drywall support is a telescoping, steel-pipe support designed to position and hold drywall sheets, wooden planks, panels, battens, metal bars, foils and lamp bodies during installation. It is available in three sizes with a telescoping range up to 2.90 m and features 8.5 x 6.5 cm base plates with a swivel range of -45° to +45°. Rubber contact surfaces on top and bottom protect sensitive surfaces while special steel construction provides a rated load capacity up to 60 kg.

Advantages

The ST290 combines stable steel-pipe construction with a compact telescoping inner tube for quick height pre-setting and a foam-grip final clamp for secure fixation. A release-button lock prevents accidental retraction and rubberized contact areas reduce slippage and surface damage. The swivel base plates enable use on sloping roofs and uneven surfaces while the overall design supports repeated, reliable positioning of boards and fixtures.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Positioning and holding drywall sheets during mounting
• Supporting wooden planks, panels and battens
• Temporary holding of metal bars, foils and lamp bodies
• Work on sloping roofs or uneven surfaces

Key specifications

• Brand: BESSEY
• Model / MPN: ST290
• EAN: 4008158031583
• Material: steel pipe construction with rubber contact surfaces
• Telescoping length: up to 2.90 m (three available sizes)
• Base plate size: 8.5 x 6.5 cm with swivel range -45° to +45°
• Maximum load capacity: up to 60 kg

How to use

Extend the inner telescoping tube to roughly the required height and lock it using the quick-lock mechanism. Place the support under the drywall sheet or other workpiece with the rubber contact surfaces against the material. Fine-tune the height and secure the final position by turning the support at the foam grip until the support is clamped. If needed, adjust the base plate swivel to match sloping or uneven surfaces. Use the release button lock as required to prevent unintended collapse during work.

Recommendations

Check the load capacity of the support relative to the weight of the workpiece before use; do not exceed the stated maximum of 60 kg. Ensure the rubber contact surfaces are clean and free of debris to maintain non-slip contact. For storage and transport, retract the telescoping tube and engage the release-button lock.
