Suitable for

• Sealing cable feed-throughs in electrical enclosures
• Routing flat cables or small electrical tubes
• Indoor and outdoor automation or machine systems
• Areas requiring dust- and water-resistant cable entry (IP68)

How to use

Drill or cut an appropriately sized opening in the enclosure, insert the cable gland and feed the flat cable or tube through the gland. Assemble the gland parts as required so the integrated seal compresses around the cable or tube to form a watertight connection. Verify the seal and secure the gland to the housing according to the enclosure's mounting features.

Recommendations

Use the cable gland within the manufacturer’s specified environmental conditions and avoid excessive mechanical strain on the cables. Confirm compatibility of cable diameter with the gland before installation and periodically inspect seals for wear if used outdoors.
