Planor Amewi 3D Climber model radiocomandat

The Amewi 3D Climber Radio-Controlled Model is a lightweight electric glider designed for outdoor flying. Weighing approximately 110 g and powered by a removable 300 mAh battery, this model combines low mass and a compact propulsion system to deliver responsive handling and stable flight characteristics. The airframe is finished in a multi-colour scheme (white, red, blue, black) to aid visibility and orientation during maneuvers. The model supports a single battery and is intended for pilots seeking a small, portable aircraft that performs well in calm to moderate wind conditions.

Advantages

The low weight and efficient electric motor enable extended flight times relative to the aircraft’s size and battery capacity while keeping transport and setup effort minimal. The 3D-capable design provides enhanced maneuverability for both basic training and more advanced aerobatic sequences. A clear colour scheme and compact dimensions improve visual tracking during flight. The model’s simplicity of layout and single-battery operation make it straightforward to maintain and operate.

Suitable for

• Beginners learning basic RC flight and gliding techniques
• Experienced pilots practicing 3D manoeuvres and precision flying
• Field flying where portability and quick setup are priorities
• Outdoor recreational flights in calm to moderate wind conditions

Key specifications

• Approximate weight: 0.11 kg
• Power: electric motor
• Battery: single removable 300 mAh battery
• Airframe finish: white, red, blue, black
• Flight type: glider with 3D-capable manoeuvrability

How to use

Charge the supplied or compatible 300 mAh battery fully before use and install it in the battery compartment according to the manufacturer’s polarity markings. Perform a control surface and motor run-up check while holding the model securely to confirm correct servo direction and throttle response. Launch the glider by hand or from a suitable smooth surface, applying gentle throttle to climb and then reducing power for glide and manoeuvres. Monitor battery voltage and remaining flight time to ensure a safe return and landing before the battery is depleted.

Recommendations

Operate the model in open areas clear of people, traffic and obstacles. For first flights, use light wind conditions and consider assistance from an experienced pilot for setup and initial trimming. Use compatible chargers and follow battery safety guidelines: never leave charging batteries unattended, store batteries at recommended temperatures, and inspect for damage before each use.
