Obiectiv Axis 01860-001

The Axis 01860-001 lens pack contains ten optional megapixel M12 lenses designed to expand the field of view of compatible compact network cameras. Each lens is black, supports a 1/2.7" image sensor size and is intended for applications where improved light sensitivity and image quality at about 1 MP resolution are needed. The lenses are a universal accessory for AXIS security cameras and other cameras with an M12 mount.

Advantages

These M12 megapixel lenses offer an alternative field of view and enhanced low-light performance compared with some standard fixed lenses. Supplied in a pack of ten, they provide consistent optical characteristics across multiple cameras and installations, simplifying replacement and scaling. The compact M12 form factor ensures compatibility with cameras that accept 1/2.7" sensors and M12 mounts.

Suitable for

• Upgrading compact network cameras for improved low-light imaging
• Replacing or standardizing lenses across multiple AXIS or M12-mount cameras
• Small- to medium-scale CCTV installations requiring ~1 MP optics

How to use

Install each lens into a compatible camera by screwing the M12 mount into the camera's lens socket until secure, then adjust focus and field of view as required by the camera's focus mechanism or software. Calibrate camera settings (exposure, gain, white balance) after installation to achieve optimal image quality. Replace lenses in matched groups to maintain uniform image characteristics across multiple cameras.

Recommendations

Use these lenses with cameras that explicitly support M12 mounts and 1/2.7" sensors. Verify mechanical clearance and focus range before large-scale deployment. For best low-light results, combine the lenses with appropriate camera sensitivity settings and IR illumination if required.
