Modul keystone ShiverPeaks BS08-10003

The ShiverPeaks BS08-10003 keystone module is a flat, silver-coloured insert with an integrated RJ-45 connector designed for modular faceplates and patch panels. Supplied as a single unit per pack, this keystone module provides a compact termination point for Ethernet cabling and is suitable for installations where a low-profile, professional appearance is required.

Advantages

This keystone module offers a compact flat design that reduces protrusion from faceplates and wall outlets while maintaining a standard RJ-45 interface for network connectivity. The silver finish provides a neutral, professional look that blends with modern interior fittings. Built with durability and reliable contact performance in mind, the module is suitable for repeated insertion and removal of network plugs without compromising connectivity.

Suitable for

• Home and small office Ethernet wall outlets
• Modular patch panels in communication cabinets
• Custom faceplates and multimedia plates for network ports
• Replacement or upgrade of existing keystone ports

Key specifications

• Connector type: RJ-45
• Form factor: Keystone module, flat profile
• Finish: Silver colour
• Pack contents: 1 module per pack
• Application: Ethernet/network cabling termination

How to use

Insert the module into a compatible keystone opening in a faceplate, wall outlet or patch panel until it snaps into place. Terminate the Ethernet cable according to the applicable wiring standard (for example T568A or T568B) using a suitable punch-down or IDC tool on the rear contacts, or follow the manufacturer's recommended termination method if different. Once properly terminated and seated, connect an RJ-45 plug to the front port to establish network connectivity. Ensure cables are routed and secured to avoid strain on the module.

Recommendations

Use the module with category-rated cabling and correct wiring standards to achieve expected network performance. Avoid excessive bending or pulling on cables near the termination point and verify connections with a cable tester after installation.
