Mixer audio Omnitronic 10040280

The Omnitronic LMC series mixer delivers warm, natural sound and reliable performance for studio recordings, live shows, and fixed PA installations. The 2022FX model includes features such as feedback detection, a voice canceller and a 3D stereo surround effect. Mono channels use low-noise microphone preamps with up to 130 dB dynamic range and an extended bandwidth for clear signal reproduction. Each mono channel also includes a one-knob studio-grade compressor, and the mixer offers a 24-bit effects processor with 16 editable effects. A built-in USB audio interface (up to 48 kHz) enables direct connection to Windows or Mac computers for recording.

Advantages

The Omnitronic 10040280 provides high audio performance with a wide frequency range and low distortion, delivering transparent and detailed sound. Its low-noise mic preamps and British-style equalizers yield a warm tonal character while preserving clarity. Integrated tools — including feedback detection, voice canceller, per-channel compressor and a versatile 24-bit FX engine — increase workflow efficiency for live and studio use. The USB interface simplifies multi-track recording and playback with computers.

How to use

Connect microphones and line sources to the appropriate channel inputs, set gain using the low-noise preamps and shape tone with the channel equalizers. Engage the one-knob compressor on mono channels as needed to control dynamics. Route effects from the 24-bit processor to individual channels, buses or the main mix and adjust levels accordingly. Use the feedback detection and voice canceller features during soundcheck to reduce unwanted feedback and isolate vocal content. Connect a computer via USB to record or play back audio at up to 48 kHz.

Recommendations

For best results, perform a full soundcheck prior to a session: set input gains to achieve healthy levels without clipping, enable the compressor where needed, and apply the feedback detection before increasing main output. Use balanced cables for long runs and record at the maximum USB sample rate supported by your DAW for optimal fidelity.
