Mâner Honeywell EDA52-SH-R

The Honeywell EDA52-SH-R handle is an accessory designed specifically for the ScanPal EDA52 mobile computer to improve grip, control and operator comfort during scanning tasks. It attaches directly to the device to provide a pistol-style ergonomic hold that reduces wrist strain and allows for steady, repeatable scanning movements in high-volume environments.

Advantages

The handle enhances handling stability and helps maintain consistent scanner orientation, which can reduce misreads and increase throughput. Its ergonomic shape distributes pressure across the palm to minimize hand fatigue during prolonged use. The attachment mechanism ensures a secure fit to the ScanPal EDA52 without affecting access to essential ports and buttons. Materials and finish provide a non-slip surface suitable for varied workplace conditions.

Suitable for

• Retail point-of-sale and inventory counting
• Warehouse picking and packing
• Logistics and shipping operations
• Field service and stock replenishment tasks

Key specifications

How to use

Align the handle with the ScanPal EDA52 rear interface and engage the attachment points until the mechanism clicks into place, ensuring the handle is firmly seated. Verify that all device buttons, the trigger and ports remain accessible and unobstructed after installation. Hold the EDA52 by the handle in a natural pistol grip and operate the scanner using the built-in trigger; release the latch to remove the handle when necessary for cleaning, charging or storing the device.

Recommendations

Inspect the handle periodically for wear, cracks or loosening of the mounting mechanism. Clean the handle surface with a soft cloth and mild detergent; avoid aggressive chemicals that could degrade the polymer. For repeated heavy-duty use, confirm the secure fit before each shift and replace the handle if any structural damage is observed to maintain safe and reliable operation.
