Dulap baterii UPS Tower Eaton 9SXEBM48T

The Eaton 9SXEBM48T is a tower UPS battery cabinet designed to extend runtime for compatible Eaton UPS systems. It uses sealed lead‑acid (VRLA) battery technology with a 48 V configuration and a nominal capacity of 9 Ah. The unit is certified to IEC/EN 62040-1 and UL 1778, and its compact footprint—160 mm width, 387 mm depth and 252 mm height—permits placement in constrained spaces while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Advantages

The Eaton 9SXEBM48T provides a straightforward method to increase available backup time for critical equipment through a compatible external battery module. Sealed lead‑acid (VRLA) chemistry minimizes maintenance requirements compared with flooded batteries and reduces the risk of electrolyte leakage. The cabinet’s compact dimensions and black finish make it adaptable for rack-adjacent or standalone tower installations where space is limited. Certification to IEC/EN 62040-1 and UL 1778 confirms adherence to recognized safety and performance standards.

How to use

Install the Eaton 9SXEBM48T adjacent to a compatible Eaton UPS according to the UPS and battery cabinet installation instructions. Ensure the UPS and battery cabinet are powered down and isolated from mains supply before connecting. Use the appropriate cables and connectors specified by the UPS manufacturer to link the battery cabinet to the UPS battery interface. After connection, perform any manufacturer-recommended commissioning procedures, including battery status checks and runtime testing, to verify proper operation.

Recommendations

Store and operate the battery cabinet in a dry, well-ventilated area within the ambient temperature range specified by Eaton. Avoid exposure to extreme temperatures, moisture, and dust. Periodically inspect connections for corrosion or looseness and follow safety guidelines for sealed lead‑acid batteries, including proper recycling or disposal at end of life.
