Disc de șlefuit KWB 491312 5 buc.

Sanding Disc KWB 491312 5 pcs are fibreglass-mesh sanding discs bonded with synthetic resin and silicon carbide grit, featuring a velour backing. They offer up to four times the lifetime compared with standard aluminium-oxide abrasive paper and can be cleaned quickly by shaking or rinsing under running water. These discs are suitable for smoothing fillers and very rough areas, and for removing paint, synthetic and acrylic coatings, and rust, producing a homogeneous finished surface. They are universally compatible with most sander brands and perform well with extraction systems.

Advantages

The silicon carbide abrasive on a fibreglass mesh provides increased durability and faster material removal while the velour reverse ensures secure attachment to hook-and-loop backing pads. The open mesh construction prevents clogging and allows easy cleaning by shaking or rinsing, extending usable life. Compatibility with extraction systems reduces dust during operation, and the synthetic-resin bonding maintains grit stability under load.

How to use

Attach the disc to a compatible sander with hook-and-loop pad, ensure the workpiece is secured, and select an appropriate speed for the material. Move the sander evenly across the surface, applying light and consistent pressure to avoid gouging. If the mesh becomes clogged, remove the disc and clean it by shaking or rinsing under running water; allow it to dry before reuse. Replace the disc when abrasive performance diminishes.

Recommendations

For best results, start with a coarser grit for heavy material removal and finish with a finer grit if a smoother surface is required. Use dust extraction where possible and wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as eye protection and a dust mask.
