Diodă LED indicator Lamptron verde — model LAMP-SW2003-S

The Lamptron LED indicator diode green — model LAMP-SW2003-S is a compact single‑color green LED designed for visual status indication in electronic equipment, control panels and custom PC/modding projects. It provides a consistent green light output for clear visibility of on/off states, status signals or simple notifications. The indicator is intended for installation where a distinct green signal is required to communicate system condition.

Advantages

This green LED indicator offers a compact form factor that fits into tight panel cutouts and modded enclosures. Its single‑color output ensures unambiguous signalling with good visibility in low‑light and typical ambient environments. The component is suitable for retrofit or new installations and is compatible with common low‑voltage indicator circuits, allowing straightforward integration into existing control panels or custom builds.

Suitable for

• Control panels and switchgear status indication
• Custom PC case modding and chassis indicators
• Electronic devices requiring a green visual status signal
• Replacement of existing green panel LEDs

Key specifications

• Light color: green single‑color LED
• Form factor: compact panel indicator style suitable for small cutouts
• Typical use: visual on/off or status signalling
• Compatibility: designed for low‑voltage indicator circuits and common resistor‑limited LED drive

How to use

Install the indicator into the panel cutout matching its form factor and secure it according to the enclosure design. Connect the LED to the control circuit ensuring correct polarity and an appropriate series resistor or current‑limited driver is used to match the LED’s forward voltage and desired brightness. Verify power is disconnected during installation and test the indicator by applying the operational voltage to confirm correct illumination and polarity before final assembly.

Recommendations

Use appropriate current limiting (series resistor or constant current driver) and observe polarity when wiring. Select a panel cutout and mounting method that provide mechanical support and protection from short circuits. For visibility in bright environments, consider positioning the indicator in a shaded or recessed location or use supplementary labels to clarify its meaning.
