Cuplaj priză electrică Bachmann 919.177 16 A

Bachmann 919.177 is an electrical socket coupler engineered to connect or extend 16 A mains sockets. It is designed for inline coupling of compatible 16-ampere electrical sockets and supports mounting on cables up to H07RN-F 3G 2.50 mm2. The coupler features a thermoplastic rubber insert with an earthing contact, a side fitting and cover, and a robust industrial housing with surface clamps and a standardized clip-in function. The operating temperature range spans from -40 °C to 70 °C, making it suitable for a variety of indoor and sheltered outdoor environments where a reliable 16 A connection is required.

Advantages

The coupler provides a straightforward method to extend or join 16 A circuits without the need for complex rewiring. The thermoplastic rubber insert with earthing contact ensures secure grounding, while the side fitting and cover improve mechanical protection and reduce exposure to dust. The industrial-grade construction with surface clamps and a clip-in mechanism enhances mechanical stability and simplifies installation and removal. Wide temperature tolerance supports use in environments with significant temperature variation.

Suitable for

• Temporary power distribution on work sites and workshops
• Extending or joining power outlets in offices and utility rooms
• Connecting equipment that requires a 16 A rated mains connection
• Semi-permanent installations where a durable inline coupler is needed

Key specifications

• Rated current: 16 A
• Cable compatibility: up to H07RN-F 3G 2.50 mm²
• Operating temperature range: -40 °C to 70 °C
• Insert material: thermoplastic rubber with earthing contact
• Housing: robust industrial version with surface clamps
• Mounting/fitting: side fitting and cover, standardized clip-in function

How to use

Ensure power is disconnected before installation. Prepare the cable end to match the specified cable compatibility (H07RN-F 3G 2.50 mm² max) and insert conductors into the coupler according to polarity and earthing requirements. Secure the cable using the surface clamps and engage the clip-in function to lock the housing. Close the side cover to protect contacts. After installation, restore power and verify that the connected equipment receives a stable 16 A supply and that earthing continuity is present.

Recommendations

Use the coupler only with compatible 16 A devices and cables that meet the specified cross-section. Avoid exposing the coupler to direct water jets or immersion; use it in sheltered locations or where IP rating and local regulations allow. Regularly inspect clamps, contacts, and the rubber insert for wear or damage and replace the coupler if any degradation is found.
