Convertor USB-C la USB 3.0 Sandberg 136-05

The Sandberg USB-C to USB 3.0 Converter (model 136-05) lets you connect standard USB-A devices to a computer or host with a USB-C port while maintaining USB 3.0/USB 3.2 Gen 1 speeds. The compact white adapter has a male USB-C plug and a female USB-A receptacle and is intended for short connections where full 5 Gbit/s data transfer is required.

Advantages

This adapter supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 (formerly USB 3.0 / 3.1 Gen 1) with a maximum theoretical transfer rate of 5 Gbit/s, enabling fast data exchange with external drives and other peripherals. Its short 0.1 m form factor makes it convenient for desktop use and avoids excess cabling. The simple plug-and-play design requires no drivers and the white finish integrates unobtrusively with modern setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting external hard drives and SSDs to a USB-C port
• Using USB printers and scanners with USB-C only hosts
• Connecting mice, keyboards and other USB-A peripherals to USB-C laptops

Recommendations

For best performance, ensure both the host USB-C port and the connected USB-A device support USB 3.2 Gen 1. Use the adapter for short, direct connections; avoid using multiple passive adapters in series. Keep the adapter dry and avoid excessive bending at the connector.
